Transfusion Safety Office (TSO) Resource Manual
The Transfusion Safety Officer (TSO) Resource Manual was developed by the Ontario Regional Blood Coordinating Network (ORBCoN)to be used as a reference for Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLT), Registered Nurses (RN) and other healthcare professionals appointed to the Transfusion Safety Officer role. This resource is intended to be utilized by hospitals or institutions that do not have a formal TSO in place but have responsibilities that are delegated to certain healthcare personnel.

Quality Improvement Plan

This document has been developed by the Ontario Regional Blood Coordinating Network (ORBCoN). The document was created to provide guidance on how to implement quality improvement activities to reduce unnecessary RBC transfusion at your institution or hospital. Home Infusion Toolkit
