By-laws

The Canadian Society for Transfusion Medicine is incorporated under the Canada Corporations Act.  The business of the Society is governed by the By-laws that were filed at the time of incorporation in 1989.  Subsequent changes to these By-laws must be proposed to the membership, voted and accepted by the members at a General Meeting for Members (usually the Annual General Meeting) and submitted for Ministerial approval prior to being enforced.  The objectives of the Canadian Society for Transfusion Medicine are expressed in our Mission, Vision and Value statements.
